If all you see are fic posts, then I don't have you added as a friend. However, bear in mind that I don't automatically accept friend requests that pop up in my email. If you want to be added, let me know somehow.
This is a fairly comprehensive list of my fanfic. For the most part, it's in alphabetical order, except for when listed as part of a series; then it's in chronological order.
This is here because my tags system is starting to collapse under the weight of all the fics. You can find all of these on AO3, but if you want them all here instead, here they be.
I'll try to keep it updated as I post new stuff.
( Big Nothing )
( Doctor Who )
( Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy )
( Hot Fuzz )
( Life on Mars )
( Shaun of the Dead )
( Spaced )
( Venture Bros )

Yes, this is inspired by the most recent post on F!S. A secret was posted for something that aired in the most recent series of Dexter with a MASSIVE spoiler. I guess the episode aired a few weeks ago. I don't know, because we dropped Showtime when we moved.
Of course, I commented (quite angrily, I will admit) about the lack of a spoiler warning, and wank's already starting up. So, I have a question. At which point is it okay to post spoilers? Does the format of the thing you're spoiling make a difference? I can understand using the cop-out of "it aired weeks ago" for X-Factor or Survivor. Those are on network television. But what about something on extended cable (like Showtime), that you have to pay extra for? Is it just assumed these days that if you don't subscribe to the channel, you must automatically torrent the show/s you like?
What about a film? "It came out weeks ago!" If I'd spoiled Star Trek XI for you three weeks after it premiered, would I be able to use that cop-out?
This is un-locked because I want to know what people think. Please spread the link around for this post.

Hello, to whoever got my name drawn out of the proverbial hat for Yuletide this year! I figure I'd follow in Mikey's footsteps and make this post, rather than making you try to guess what I might want to read about. I'm really quite easy to please, but here's what I'd really like:
1. I've recently learned that I don't like death!fic. Like, at all (yes, two of my fandoms I chose have quite a lot of deaths in them, but I'm talking like, killing off a character and being quite front and centre about it). Some of these characters, I've developed a bit of an emotional attachment to, and would rather not see any real harm come to them. :(
2. That said, don't think that you have to match the tone of the source material. I do like to laugh, and requested three comedies, but if you feel like you need to get dark with it, then don't hesitate. I don't necessarily need a "happy" ending, either, so don't feel like you need to make everything come round to bunnies and puppies and whatever in the end. If you want bunnies and puppies, though, then by all means, don't let me stop you.
3. For Spaced, I think I put "any" for pairings, but I think I forgot to specify a caveat to that. It should read, "Any other than Tim and Daisy." They are what I refer to as my OTP of never getting it on, because I cannot imagine a world in which they do. And frankly, I don't really want to try. Sexual tension? Love it. That can be played up as much as you want.
4. An addendum to 3, I enjoy slash, gen, and het. So don't feel like you have to sex it up if you're not feeling it.
And above all else, have fun and happy holiday of your chosing! :D

Title: Blue Fury (2/?)
Fandom: Hot Fuzz
Character/s: Gen, with Nicholas/Janine B-story and Garden-Variety Bromance
Word Count: 4600 (this chapter)
Rating: R (If you were using Britain’s rating system, it would definitely be an 18)
Summary/Warnings: Did you ever see that movie about those cops out in the West Country? This ain’t it.
A bit shorter than the last chapter, but it just seemed like a good place to break it up.
As always, Sgt. Travis Martin = Martin Freeman (Deskjob); Insp. Partridge = Steve Coogan.
Also, much thanks to
bakaknight, who answers all of my questions about things I don't know how to Google.

I’ve been poking at this idea with a sharp stick for a VERY long time. It’s what Hot Fuzz would have been if someone like myself had written it. In other words, it’s not as light-hearted as the film, and has slightly darker themes.
I ultimately decided to post this as I go, which I don't normally like to do, but 1. It's going to be quite long, and 2, I don't want to spam everyone by posting this all at once.

Title: Halloween Drabble
Fandom: Hot Fuzz
Character/s: Gen
Word Count: drabble-length
Rating: G
Summary/Warnings: In honour of the current holiday.
Nicholas sat slumped on the sofa, his head resting against the back. He wasn’t even hearing the gunshots and screams from the zombie film that was reaching its climax.
“Shame,” Danny said suddenly.
As Nicholas sat up, the bowl of by this point mostly plastic wrappers fell to the ground. “Why’s that?” he asked, blinking back to attention.
“Didn’t get many trick or treaters, did we?”
Nicholas frowned lightly, looking over the mess on his coffee table. “Danny, is that why you brought all these sweets? Halloween’s not until next week.”
“Oh, isn’t it?” Danny asked with a crooked grin.

Fandom: Hot Fuzz
Character/s: Slash-tastic Gen
Word Count: drabble-length
Rating: G, I think
Summary/Warnings: I was organising my DVD case when this popped into my head. Three guesses which DVD gave me the idea.
“I’m sorry. I’ve never had that happen before.”
Nicholas blinked, staring confused into the space in front of him. “No, it’s... okay. It’s fine.”
“But it isn’t. It’s embarrassing.” Danny looked away for a few moments before finally getting up, putting some distance between him and Nicholas.
“What now?” Nicholas tapped his fingers awkwardly against his thighs. “I mean...”
“I dunno. I won’t be mad if you go home.”
“It wasn’t that bad,” Nicholas assured.
“You’re such a horrible liar.” Sighing, Danny ejected the DVD, picking up Karate Cop from the tray and shoving it rather unceremoniously into the case.

Whilst cooking supper today, there was a minor incident with the cooker, and tl;dr, I've got some really impressive blisters on my drawing hand (you probably saw me spazzing out over Twitter a few hours ago if you watch me there). Luckily, most of my commission queue was taken care of before I cooked myself, so there are only a few that I'll be going rather slowly on.
Yes, I iced it. Yes, I put some sticky ointment on it. And no, I have not been to hospital, nor do I intend to, since I live in a country where health care is not a right, but a privilege, and I cannot afford a second trip to hospital so close to my last visit.
I'm perfectly capable of caring for my purple, gnarly blisters on my own. I call them George.
Public post so everyone can see, and not just my mates.

Because I am bored. I'm not even gonna bother with headers or tags any more. There are a few of these that I've not seen, either because they're not out, or I just haven't seen them, but I don't care. This was fun.

Fandom: Life on Mars

Word Count: drabble-length

Summary/Warnings:
lifein1973 Blackmail prompt.
Gene understands what they want; what they’re demanding. He knows what it will cost him either way, the damage for either decision enough to break him, completely destroy everything he’s worked so hard at building up. It would be easy enough if they just wanted money, or just another backhander, but it’s not. It’s more than a sweaty wad of bills shoved hastily into an envelope. But that would be too easy.
Gene knows what has to be done, and he’s prepared to do almost anything. It might ruin him, but right now, it’s Sam that matters most to him.
